This Return and Refund Policy applies to all products and services provided by Goliat Container, including:
sale of new and used containers,
container rentals,
repair, modification, and customization services,
preparation of containers for transport,
storage and handling services.
Due to the nature of the products (shipping containers, modified units, heavy equipment, custom structures), all sales are final.
👉 No returns or take-backs are accepted after delivery or pick-up, unless the error is proven to be caused solely by Goliat Container.
The Client must inspect the container at the time of delivery, including but not limited to:
overall condition,
structural integrity,
dimensions and specifications,
model type (Dry, High Cube, Reefer, Open Top, etc.).
Any issue must be reported immediately to both the carrier and Goliat Container.
If no written notice is provided at delivery, the container is deemed:
✔ conforming to the order,
✔ received in good condition,
✔ fully accepted by the Client.
No post-delivery claims for visible issues will be accepted.
If a visible defect is recorded at the moment of delivery and acknowledged by Goliat Container, the only remedies available are:
repair, or
replacement (if an equivalent unit is available).
No financial refund is issued for visible defects.
In accordance with Goliat Container’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale:
➡️ Goliat Container does not accept claims related to hidden defects or non-visible damages.
The Client expressly waives any right to seek compensation for such issues.
Any container that is customized, modified, or built according to the Client’s specifications is:
non-cancellable,
non-refundable,
non-returnable.
This includes but is not limited to reinforcements, cutouts, insulation, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and structural changes.
For rental agreements:
no refunds are issued once the rental period has started,
all rental fees remain due and payable,
the Client is responsible for returning the equipment in the required condition.
Cleaning fees, repair costs, or restoration costs may apply.
Cancellation is possible only in writing and requires written approval from Goliat Container.
Non-refundable costs include:
admin fees,
preparation and handling,
container movement within the yard,
any services already performed.
Deposits are non-refundable unless Goliat Container agrees otherwise.
No cancellation is possible once the container has left the depot.
A refund may be issued only if:
the wrong model was delivered,
a major mismatch is proven,
Goliat Container made an error in the preparation or delivery of the order.
In such cases:
Goliat Container will arrange replacement, or
issue a refund within 10 business days after written approval.
Refunds are not issued for:
improper use by the Client,
damage occurring after delivery,
transport performed by the Client,
delays caused by carriers or logistics partners,
issues resulting from site inaccessibility,
changes of mind.
Under no circumstances are the following fees eligible for refund:
outbound transport,
return transport,
handling charges,
yard movement,
storage,
costs resulting from inaccessible delivery sites.
These charges remain fully at the Client’s expense.
All claims must be submitted in writing to:
